Background

In this project I was the sole designer tasked with creating a 3-pronged cloud migration campaign for AWS partners that could scale depending on the focused migration messaging the partner chose—SAP Migration, Microsoft Migration, or VMware Migration. This would allow AWS and their partners to jointly promote key roles within the migrations sector.

Approach

The campaign was marketed to the AWS Partners as a 6-month program that included multiple co-branded emails, landing pages, and an info center with dynamic partner assets, a customized prospect list, double touch asset promotion, and real-time lead alerts sent directly to partner sales reps.

I was tasked with designing 4 unique visuals for this campaign: email, landing page, info center, and alert message. These viuals would act as standard layouts for each partner campaign. When we moved to the implementations part, we were able to create these visuals in the campaign application with dynamic elements that allowed us to customize the content and migration focus depending on the preference of each partner once the campaigns were launched.

Analysis / Impact

The initial round of lead generation campaigns have yielded an over delivery of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for each of the 20+ partners to further nurture. Additional AWS partners were being launched as I moved on from this project, with expansion of the program over the course of the following year.

Background

Imagine driving around with your electric car — picking up your kids, doing some errands, and no time to stop at a charging station to charge your car. Well, what if the charging station came to you?

EVbloom is a startup working to setup a fleet of van that will come to your park car at any location and provide a charge. The small team consisted of Silicon Valley veterans with decades of experience building consumer and enterprise software products enjoyed by millions of customers worldwide.

From the original concept where EVbloom would increase the availability of EV chargers using a network of home EV chargers of existing EV owners, came a new concept of servicing a fleet of vans equipped with the tech to bring the charging to the EV vehicle owners. While the product now had a physical component, we still needed to create a digital component that allow customers to schedule charging appointments and provide sufficient information for the vehicle charging to be complete.

Approach

On this project, we were a team of five: a couple developers, designers, and project managers working to execute this problem we found in the EV marketing. After a few Google hangout meeting, we finalized a user flow for the app, what content the app would need to gather, and the best strategy for communication between car owner and the individual tasked with charging the vehicle.

Analysis / Impact

I was able to learn a lot in a very short amount of time with Evbloom, coming out with the experience of implementing a fully functional mobile application that can operate on both Android and iOS platforms. The tools used on this project were Figma, Visual Studio, Android Studio, etc.
